I plan to make my chevrons for clue 2 by strip piecing like I did for Celtic Solstice. To me, it is much easier and faster.

I can't seem to print the templates correctly - 2 1/4" x 4 9/16". Close but not right. I'm not given an option for scaling so I'm going to use method #3. I may or may not save my bonus triangles. I've already got a lot of those so maybe I will. Anyway, tks for providing the links.

Have 2 guild meetings tomorrow, one with a challenge quilt due, & both are our Christmas parties. Will deal w/Bonnie's details later in the week.

I also have trouble printing out templates and method #3 seems confusing, I will have to reread

When I read #3, it made more sense to me than the others. Seems like it is just rectangles 2.5" x 4.5" with 2.5" squares attached on the corners & then trimmed. I'm going to ignore the "bonus triangle" part & just worry about getting the diamond rectangles done. My main problem will be remembering to attach the squares correctly so the diamond is still a diamond when I'm done. Aaahhh, the joys of quilting. Have a good time w/it anyway.
