Default No sew Tumbling Block pattern.

Ok, the demo looked super easy. I ran to my sewing room and ironed some jellyroll strips in half. I marked the lines. My sample looked nothing like the demo. I ordered the book.

Recently I saw Georgia Bonesteel do the weaving on one of her quilt shows- lap quilting episode 1205 Her signature red, white and blue tumbling blocks is the weaving.

Really cool - it does look like there will be raw edges on the top of the quilt, but maybe I just misunderstood. Will have to look for this at LQS and investigate further. Thanks for sharing this new technique.

I have been interested in the blocks for a while and I like this technique. I ordered the book even though one of the reviews was bad the rest were positive.

I love this idea. Please keep us up to date on your thoughts about the book and any progress you make with it. Tumbling blocks is on my bucket list but it scares me silly to try it with diamonds and y seams.
