    LOL, now I know why I just buy 2 yards of each!! Very math challenged!!

    That is why I buy 4-6 yards, more than enough to make whatever size quilt I want, when I add other fabrics to it. Maybe that is why I have plenty of scraps left. Working with exact amounts are too risky to suit me.

    I prefer to make sure I have plenty of fabric and guestimate before cutting. If it doesn't appear I will have enough, I change up my fabric choices if possible.

    I usually have at least one bad cut - on my good days! I prefer to have left-overs to running 1/2 inch short!
