Canada's Big Quilt Bee
It's Canada's 150th Birthday this year and the CQA is celebrating with a huge quilting bee. I thought you might be interested in seeing what we are up to.

Thanks for this info. People also should know about 150 Canadian women quilt. Next Step Quilt Designs releases three blocks each Tuesday. The directions disappear after two weeks, but all will be available for sale after the program is done. The blocks are a nice mix of easy and not-so-easy. Thus far, they have been pieced; don't know if there will be applique blocks as well. The blocks will make a great sampler when they are all done. Check out http://www.nextstepquiltdesigns.com/

Fabulous way to celebrate. Congratulations on your anniversary, too. I spent my honeymoon (1967) in Canada and have made several other trips to various areas of your beautiful country - including the cross Canada train excursion with 5 other friends.
