Very cute block

Hey ladies, thanks for linking to my chicken block, and for visiting my blog. I designed it for this mini quilt I did in a swap a few years ago: http://www.flickr.com/photos/1772308...57623606592867
(the baby chicks are from the Quilter's Ark book, fyi.)

I did design the chicken's comb to be only attached at the base, but the beak is pieced in. The block got some criticism a while back from another online group because the comb is rooster size, not hen size. But oh well, I like it that way anyway.

I would love it if you let me know if you make one (or more) of these chickens!
