Thumbs up 58" Wide fabrics

http://www.fabricsgalore.com/catalog.php?cid=111

I was recommended to this site by someone on this forum, to whom I am forever grateful. Before visiting this site I didn't know that you could get 58" width quilting fabrics! I know about quilt backing material but I find this size is so much more useful to me for the size of quilts that I make a lot of.

A couple of my quilting ladies bought some yardage and made lovely reversible Christmas/Ordinary use tablecloths. I have a beautiful 2 yard piece of a lovely Burgundy tonal fabric that I will use to back a quilt as the size is perfect. And check out her prices !

BTW "her" name is Carol and she is so helpful, she even contacted me when she was on holiday when I had a query, her services is fab.

I knew about 55-60" quilting fabric, but it's really hard to find. Most of my quilts are 50 x 60 charity quilts, so the wider fabric makes backings so much faster. Thanks for the link - I'll keep it where I can find it again!

I looked at the website, make sure to check that the fabric is 100% cotton if that's what you want. From what I saw there's more poly cotton blends in the wider fabrics.
