Not only do I enjoy needlework, but I am now taking ukulele lessons.

Last night I went to a concert to see Wisconsin's favorite folk singer, LilRev. Super concert. While at the concert, I purchased one of his cd's. It is all about quilting. Has some songs on it as well as a poem or two. I really enjoy it.

I am posting a link to his site which tells all about his songs. On the page, you will find a few videos with him singing some of his quilting songs. I don't see a link on his site for purchasing his cd of quilting songs, but if you use his contact link, I am sure he will tell you how you can get a copy of the cd. I am no way connected with the site, but just thought maybe there might be a few of you who would enjoy his work also.

I play the uke too! lol... Learned as a young child and moved on to the guitar in my teens, but have two ukes in my guest closet - one of them my dad's Martin bought in 1951. I often use uke chordings on my guitar to sing the old songs my parents sang when we were growing up. Have fun! and will head off to check out this site.

edit: I just posted him to my facebook page! Can't understand a word he's saying (I'm hard-of-hearing), but the melodies are sweet. He's so Cute!!!
