Civil War Sampler by Barbara Brackman

In case anyone is interested, Barbara Brackman has started a new Civil War Sampler, which, I believe, is a block of the week.

Thanks for posting this. It's a block of the month, not week. Posted the last Saturday of each month.

I would love to do this one, but first I have to do Underground Railroad. I've had the book for several years. Think I need to get the book out and do it like I was in a club and do a block a month.

This one is the Underground Railroad. I did the Dixie Diary also, and love the way it turned out. Now I'm doing this one. I finished the Portsmouth Star block and it came out beautifully. Loved the story of Ona Judge Staines that went with it.

Love this link - so interesting reading the information she provided and also loved all the sample colorways she showed for the block.
