There aren't too many occasions for me to use such a beautiful bag, but wouldn't the idea make a great thread catcher, the kind that has the pincushion on the table and the hanging bag attached.

Sew pretty!! They would also make beautiful jewelry or make-up bags for traveling!

I also watched the whole video and bookmarked the link. That bag is just so beautiful. I have never made a bag before but I am just going to have to pull up my big girl panties and have a go at this one. A very easy video to watch.
