Welcome to the Quilting Board!
Thank You. I was looking for a project to so with my grandchildren. This will do it.
Kindness is a language which the deaf can hear and the blind see.
I just made 85 of these dolls last week and will be sending them to Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota for use as they wish. Need to get some more muslin and will be making more soon--they go together very quickly and turn out so cute.
This is wonderful, and perfect timing for me! I will be working with our local rape and abuse crisis center and have been thinking about something for the women and children. Thank you!
What a great idea & I am sure lots of little children would love to have one!!
If you see someone without a SMILE, please give them one of yours!!
I posted a thread on this with the pattern about a month ago. Great reminder! Brenda ROCKS for taking over this project. I think a number of QB members are making these dolls. They only take 20 minutes and are cute as buttons. 8 will fit in a standard 9 x 12 postal envelope and postage is about $6-7. One of the QB members donated some of her scraps for the dolly dresses which i am in prcess of using up. Here are some of my little ladies....
This QB is full of caring & giving people. Restores my faith in us humans when I read this board. Here's a pat on the back to all you wonderful people.
