    These crumb catchers are a great idea for a quick gift. Will be digging my Christmas fabrics out and getting busy. Thanks for the link. Adorable!

    I did a similar thing this summer. I use a tablecloth as well as placemats. I got so tired of having bottles sweat or spill onto my tablecloth, that I made a small rectangular mat to catch the sweat and drips. It helped keep the cloth dry and could easily be washed while saving changing the tablecloth.
