Default Cool Shop Hops

I am the editor of my Guild Newsletter. Every so often I do a google search for local quilt happenings that I can include in the letter. This morning I found this

http://www.rowbyrowexperience.com/ro...ting-areas.htm

It is a Row by Row Shop hop in 35 different areas all across the USA. For every participating quilt shop you visit in a specific area, you get free directions for a quilt row designed by that shop. They even have FB pages set up to show the rows. Really great idea - I am already planning on what shops I need to visit!!

Just thought I would share.

Yes, that is very cool. Is there a picture of the finished quilt somewhere? Just wondering....

nanna-up-north because each shop designs a row, the quilt that you create will depend on the shops that you go to. There seems to be a FB page for each region and pictures of the rows have been published there. I am in New England, so I looked at the Maine, NH, RI and CT. Here is a photo stream of the ones done in NH

These are public pages so you do not have to have a FB account to see them. Just click on an image thumbnail, and you get an expanded image. Very cool idea actually and you are given basically the whole summer to visit. The other neat thing is that there are shops listed here in NE that I never knew existed!!

I have been seeing this and thinking about joining. I was hoping it was happening this month while I am on vacation, but looks like I should be about home when it starts. I will check to see if there are any stores we pass while traveling and then see what is near home. It sounds interesting.

I just found a shop near my home that I didn't even know existed - how cool is that!

Does anyone know anything about the different license plates that are part of the Row by Row shop hop?
