Craftsy 2015 Block of the Month with Jinny Beyer

This is a great opportunity to learn hand piecing techniques for any who are interested. There is a kit available for purchase, but it's not necessary to by it to take the classes which are free. I'm so fascinated by her techniques and quilts. Hope some of you might be interested!

I took her first lesson the other day about color. It was great!

I'm signed up, but dithering about buying the kit. It's not the price, which I think is reasonable, but about whether I'll finish it or have it be in pieces hanging around as a UFO. The color value lesson was different than others and presented well.

I agree! Color lesson was very interesting!

This is a challenging project, but if taken one block (lesson) at a time, it will be an eye-opener even for those with some experience. There's supposed to be applique, templates, foundation piecing and more... ALL in one quilt!

I'm going download the patterns (1st of each month it comes to your email) and give it a try, and hope I can keep up. Good luck to the rest of you.

I bought this class yesterday and have yet to watch any but mainly because it's Jinny Beyer and I hope to learn a lot. So many techniques I'm looking forward to it.

I enrolled too. Looking forward to it but may not start right away. I love the colors of her quilt but don't think I'll buy the kit. I think I'll do the 1st block from something in my stash & see how it goes. If that goes well then I might go ahead & buy the kit.
Good luck to all of you.

This morning it says they are sold out of the kit. But you can sign up to be notified if they have more available.
