    That pop up is to get you to register, and it doesn't cost anything to do that.
    However, all you have to do is click on the X to close the box. You can still browse the site, watch the tutorials, etc.

    Membership is free and Craftsy has a blog and every Friday they offer free designs from quilting, hand and machine embroidery, cooking, and jewelry making. I watch when the videos are on sale and there are great discounts on fabric and lots of free patterns. There are free BOM's and the kits if you care to buy them.

    There will always be a message thanking you for a purchase even if you've just saved a free pattern and the name of the person offering the pattern or tutorial's name is usually included.
