crafty gemini review- Juki sewing machine

I received an email with the link for Crafty Gemini's video review of the Juki HZL F600. Since there is always someone looking for information on purchasing a new machine, thought someone else might be interested in this too.

I shouldn't have watched that...now I want it!!! I have the Juki TL2010q and love it, but for all the other stitches, this would be great! I was very impressed that she was able to sew thru 8 layers of denim like it was nothing!

Yes, I have read comments from bag makers who have this machine, and they really like the fact that it can handle the layers (in a bag, that's a lot).

This machine is very similar to my BabyLock Melody. I've never tried sewing through 8 layers of denim though!! But the Melody is a really nice machine. I got it for the variety of decorative stitches and it also makes a very nice stitch. Don't know how it compares in price but I know Juki machines are real workhorses.

Me too. It is so great for all the stitches that the 2010Q does'nt do, (I have that one too) These are wonderful
machines and I can't say enough about them both. I use the 2010Q for mostly FMQ, but also piece on it too.
Either one is the greatest and I have had, Brother, Babylock and Bernina, and these, IMHO, are the best.
so many quilts to make, so little time.

I have the F400 and love it, too. She didn't mention the box feed. I seldom have to use my walking for because of it.

This is my new machine and I love it! She referred to it as expensive but I bought it for $1199 in Winnipeg Canada and this was $1000 cheaper than my Janome 6500 which I purchased for $2200 new in 2004. This Juki stitches rings around my Janome, just no comparison.
