Tried the foot and hate it. Instead...for sewing DP blocks. I sew one in from top...sew one inch from bottom...then ease in the fullness and sew...WITHOUT PINNING THE DARN THING. I just pin the top and bottom. Works every time and blocks are straight across!

I bought one this winter and like it. It does help with sewing the curses as the foot has the quarter inch guide. Another helpful hint when u r sewing curves is to hold the top piece of fabric up instead of trying to push it through on top of the bottom fabric. Try it, it makes a ton of difference.

I bought the foot and it does take time to learn how to use it properly. I'm not that patient! I found this link on Pinterest. I haven't tried it yet but when I get around to my apple core, I'm gonna try it!! http://quiltorstitch.blogspot.com/20...nstead-of.html
