I promise not to buy any more fabric until I see something I really like. Or it's on sale. Or I think it might match something.
Cute idea!
Very cute idea indeed. Can also use an old larger picture frame . Have someone cut a piece of board to fit and mount inside the frame and put the nails in for you if your not handy with mens tools. I'd hunt around at 2nd hand stores for one. Presently all my spools are in a box but this is definitely worth looking into. I just copied the instructions off and handed it to my son lol. thx for sharing this Tartan.
Cute idea. I love the fact that she used nails long enough to put the matching bobbin on the same nail.
If you always do, what you have always done, The results never change. Change is the wings you give yourself.
very cute -- and you can get whatever link you want.

When life gives you lemons, make lemonade.
Very cute - and makes you wonder why we didn't think of it. It makes so much sense to do it that way.
This is a great thread holder. Thanks for sharing. I can do this.
What a great idea and probably sturdier than the ones you buy
This is a wonderful idea.

Asking a seamstress to mend is like asking Picasso to paint your garage.
If you are thinking about making one, don't skimp on the size of the nails. Leave room to add bobbin on top!!
Better to do something imperfectly, than nothing perfectly.
Done is better than perfect.
