Hi everyone,
This is not a quilt but Kimberly Jolly from the Fat Quarter Shop tweeted a link this morning for the cutest easter craft.

Here's a link to the tutorial on how to make them. So adorable!

they are soooo cute! I don't have any minky on hand but I'm going to try and make one out of just scraps (i'm sure I have some white and some brown or orange for the feet and beak). I figure the "egg cups" on the bottom could be any colour!

I just went back to check out and the site has lots and lots of projects. Fun Site. And in Tips there are some good articles. (-:

That chick is absolutely adorable. Years ago I used a very similar pattern to make a bunny.

Instead of adding the beak for the chick when you are finishing the face and sewing on the eyes you would just embroider a nose in the shape of an upside down triangle. You would then make ears using a very simple one piece strip method and attach it to the top of the head.

Sweet as can be....I'll check to see if I can find a finished one. Thanks for posting this chick we will be sure to add it to our collection.
