Default Cutting mat at Tuesday Morning store

The Sullivans 36" x 59" cutting mat on sale at Tuesday Morning store starting Sunday Feb 10th for $29.99. It will cover a folding table top. Good for cutting into different size mats too.

Oh! Thanks for the heads-up... I need a new one. Perhaps I will be able to go get one.

I saw that in the flyer i got in the mail yesterday...from the picture and discription it doesn't look like its a self healing mat...might be hard plastic. I'm going to check it out the price is great. HOpe it is a self healing mat.
Otherwise you might burn through blades quickly.
It says its low density polyethelyne what ever that means...I'll have to look up and see what Olfa's mats are made of.

I like a hard surface mat. The self healing mats, the blade cuts into the mat as you cut through the fabric. I rarely have a dull blade and I sharpen my blade before each cutting session. I will buy at least two of these mats to cover my my quilt work surfaces not so much to cut fabric but nice I know I can cut anywhere on the surface.

I'm curious to hear about the Sullivans also but I did by a June Taylor 24 X 18 with a 6 X 24 ruler included for $ 20 for our church quilting group. I thought that was a good bargain.
