That's so true Jingle & Jan. We should all start using your term Jan. "Efficiency panels" .... Love it!

Tartan, did you mean this one by Linda D? http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture... t212297.html[/QUOTE

Could not find it on the site. Could they have removed it after being sold out perhaps?

    warning warning.... 2013 post.

I'm wondering if anyone has a few pieces of this fabric in their stash I could buy to incorporate into a BOW I'm doing next year in 1800's fabrics.

I spent a long time this morning looking for cheater cloth, but what I've found is in all the worng colors to work.

close that is the side triangles and miles too much, but thank you very much for looking for me!
the center blocks were 4.5" and a few could be incorporated into my project, just because making that quilt was a wild ride and made me a much better block maker.
I gave my book and templates to a member here or I'd bestir my stumps and figure out something to add.

it's a whim really thanks again.

"bestir my stumps" is an expression I hadn't heard before. I understand the meaning, but I'm curious. Is it a regional saying?

Kalama, there are at least two sites online that offer paper piecing patterns if you'd like to incorporate a few DJ blocks - my favorite is https://www.hobbystash.com/category/dear-jane/

thanks Marianne, it's been so long since I've been in the DJ loop I'd forgotten all about those.

Dunster...Rob once said I talk like a hillbilly, what ever that is, and probably not legal to use the term anymore.
But 'fer cryin' upstairs in a bucket, I yam what I yam

edited to add: Marianne...that was a trip down memory lane! thanks again~

OMG, you did it again! Please keep using your down-home expressions on the board. It makes me smile every time.
