If you haven't heard of Spoonflower you must go to their website ( http://spoonflower.com ). You can design your own fabric design and they will print it for you! I tried it out, I just used the paint program on my computer, and the quality of the fabric is fabulous, I'm very pleased with the result. It is pricey but it was so much fun and it's a nice treat for every once and a while. Here are the two designs I had made, please excuse the poor lighting.

That looks like fun. Can you use photographs? or do you have to computer draw it?

Great design's, I can see you really had fun. I agree it is something that we all should have the chance to do.

I Love this idea and have bookmarked it for when I really need to do something special.....I know that the prices are expensive based on the prices in the American Quilt shops but for quilt shops here in Montreal - that's the price that I would pay for a regular meter of fabric (and that's only 3 inches more than a yard :-)
