Default "Dixie Diary" Civil War free BOM

From Barbara Brackman: http://civilwarquilts.blogspot.com/2...+War+Quilts%29

With stories from Sarah Morgan Dawson's Civil War diary.

If you'd like to read the actual diary which was published in 1913 as "A Confederate Girl's Diary", it is located here: http://docsouth.unc.edu/fpn/dawson/dawson.html

Thanks! I followed her previous Civil War BOM and am following Grandmother's Choice. I hadn't seen this one. Now I'm following it! Love the stories with the blocks!

I have just read (last Oct) Sarah Morgan's Diary and also A Diary from Dixie by Mary Boykin Chestnut. Both were fascinating to me. I love Civil War history. I am going to try to do this BOM but in fabrics from my stash but with the reds I just ordered from Connecting Threads in the Rhapsody in Reds collection. Boy, am I stoked! Thanks again!
