Default Do you like jelly rolls?

If you use jelly rolls alot, I ran across this site that sells 20 strips instead of 40, but the prices seem really good - thought I would share with you.

Be careful about which one(s) you order. Many are 20 strips of a single fabric! Few are more than 5 fabrics!

I don't like jelly rolls but like to cut my own. I think jelly rolls are rather expensive and I've had a few quilting buddies buy some that were not quite straight or a little short. Somehow I can't justify buying jelly rolls when I have bins of yardage. Bring on the cutting board!

Jelly rolls are spendy for my budget, so I cut my own. Takes more time, but works for me.

I agree with you, I have bought a couple but was disappointed in the cutting, I can do better so I do!

I don't usually buy any precuts due to the cost. I can cut my own much cheaper. I bought and used a jelly roll and a charm pack to make a quilt for my sister at Christmas and this was due to limited time.

I too cannot justify buying jelly rolls when I have so much fabric, a cutting board, three rotary cutters and plenty of time. Oh, also do have many rulers, a real necessity.

I agree, the jellyroll strips are expensive especially if you have leftover jellyroll strips. Sometimes you need extra yardage of contrasting fabric to finish the quilt that adds to the cost of the project.
