E magazines

I was reading Bonnie Hunter's www.quiltville.blogspot.com yesterday and she had a picture of a new e magazine on quilts. It has Geta's outstanding Hexagon quilt on the cover. Congratuations Geta! The cover title was Hexie Love!

WOW, that is one interesting GFG. Is it a ball or an optical illusion??

I visited Geta's site when she building that one. The ball looks like it is jumping out of the quilt and she did it by drafting individual pieces. Some of the edge pieces were little slivers of fabric to construct the 3D effect of the ball.
