    I hate the plain cases they are boring and I could never find them in my purse. So I covered a couple like this but on the 2nd one I made the inside out of 2 separate pieces and added a little extra to the top to hang over the hinge area that went to the bottom of the case. It opens easier this way

    Thanks for the link. The little sewing case is so cute. She has a really nice site. I looked at some other tutes of hers and really enjoyed them.

    I like this - it is really sturdy. I think it would be a cute idea for teachers' gifts. As a teacher I frequently needed to make emergency repairs to students' clothing (and sometimes my own). You could easily personalize this for a man or woman! I would definitely add seveeral different sizes of safety pins and needles with monochromatic thread. It would also be great to give a guy for his desk at work.
