I really like the Elna sewing machines so thought maybe some of you might be interested in this. It was news to me.

It's not the kind of thing you buy everyday but if one was looking for a good sewing machine of this brand, nice to know you can get a rebate.

thank you for posting this. I have an Elna 8000 bought new in the late 80's or early 90's/ I love it, only had routine maintenance. Hum_-- gives me food for thought about trading, but I probably won't ever do it.

Oh no, don't trade it in...It will last you forever. I have only traded in a machine once and that was a Janome that I didn't care for all that much. I would not trade in the Elna.

I know what you mean. I am interested in the Elna 3230 and there is no rebate on that one. It's a lower priced Elna but I wanted one that I could change feet on quickly. The other Elna I have has the auto feed foot (I think that is what it is called) and I don't want to mess with changing it. It's not that big of a deal but I'd rather not.
