Thanks for the "head up." I checked it out yesterday afternoon. The people running the sale said that a lot of fabric had already been sold. There was not much fabric at all when I got there.
She did have an embroidery machine (the lady next to me said that it cost $5000 new). Don't remember what they were asking, but no one had purchased it. They were several bids on it if it did not sell, however.
This had been an older couple who had no children and the great niece did not want any of the remaining items in the house. There was a FULL household of stuff--furniture, lawnmowers, bedding, dishes, etc.
I did buy a TINY rotary cutter for $1. They did have quilting books, but I don't have time to read the ones that I own. They did have one nice sewing cabinet, but we couldn't figure out how the machine went into it....NO ONE could figure it out. There were several quilts hanging in one closet....most of them were tied quilts...many in blue colors.
The husband had done woodworking and there were trivets and plant stands.
SOOO unless I missed a ton of fabric, there wasn't much that I was interested in. Guess it wasn't mean to be.
