They look like the ear plugs my husband has to wear at work. I use safety pins, but I don't really like pinning and unpinning. I will think about this one for awhile. Thanks for sharing.

I posted about these not long ago. I ordered a couple of sets and they are so nice! They aren't foam or plastic but a molded silicone and the pin does not come out until you pull it out. I detest basting and usually used water soluble thread to baste using a no baste floor frame. I don't have good results with the spray or the fusible batting. Now I can pin baste as close as I want in minutes. No pain in my fingers from safety pins, no tedious stitching, and no chemicals! Many think they are pricey. After using them one time I would buy them at twice the price.

Never heard of them but they sure do remind me of ear plugs. The kind you use for noise that are real cheap and come in a box. So if these are a rediculous price might try the ear plugs. (-;

Hi Ladies

I dislike the inconvenience of safety pins and how the mechanism hurts my fingers. For a long time I have used a version of this pinmoor method. I went to the dollar store and bought four white rectangular erasers for a dollar and cut them into little cubes and use them on the end of the pins. Not too small and the pins stay where put until I remove the eraser end.
I have enough for largish quilt for $2.00. What a deal!!!! Better than $20.00 for 50 ends. Use your money for fabric
