I checked our big Walmart store and our Crest and neither handle the Hyper allergenic Dawn detergent and neither has it. Will the original scent work? Also how much detergent do you use? Even Amazon does not have it right now.

I could not find the dawn pure which is clear so I used Dawn original with a slight bluish tint. soaked my quilt in my large size machine for 8 hours (using the same amount of Dawn as I would use Tide). agitate it a little drained the water and used the rinse cycle to get out the soap. I immediately put it in the dryer on high. When I pulled it out there was no bleeding to neighboring fabrics or through to the back. I did put two color catchers in the water. They are pink like washing something with a red object. But the quilt looks white. I am so happy as I though I would have a ruined quilt after putting so much time in it. Than you Power Poster for finding this.
