    Wouldn't this look great filled with FQs, fabric, or even to store a quilt? If "gifting" a quilt, it would be cool to use any leftover matching fabric to hold the quilt:

    I LOVE THAT...
    I have seen these before...but this one is my fav....looks easy to do....but soooo Beautiful !!!!!!
    I can see this used for a lot of things...to serve bread in....to put notions in.....like you said fabric .....the ideas are unlimited....

    Tootsie, thanks for sharing that link.
    I have some cute Easter fabric and I'm thinking they would make up really cute Easter baskets for my DD's.

    bopeep, I like your idea of serving bread from one of these. I might try lining with Insulbrite to help hold in the heat - we like warm bread. I'm not sure if it's too stiff. I'll have to play around with it.

    Does anyone know if using a polyester/cotton mix would work ok with this? I have only used 100% cotton before but the mixes have soooo many more options. Would it hold through numerous washes as it will be for a 10 month old.

    Sure, I think that a poly/cotton would work too. The only downside might be that some stains won't come out due to the poly. But, then again, sometimes you have that problem with cotton too.
