Default Fantastic fabric site

I don't know if this site has been mentioned before. It is Spoonflower.com. It is all expensive, but fantastic. They are original artists. Hundreds of designs. At $18 a yard, I couldn't afford to make an entire quilt, but as a focus fabric it will be great. I already have some picked out for my next quilt. Type in something like fishing and sit back and enjoy the artists creativity.

I just went to the site and not all are in that $18 per yard range. I just randomly clicked on prices and found $10.50 to be common also. Just didn't want to have folks avoid this site with some interesting fabric choice based on price alone.

Thanks so much for sharing this site! I'm getting fabulous ideas about what I could do with them. I'm so excited!

I used a chocolate glazed donut fabric from them as some of the windows in the Attic Windows quilt I made for my DH's retirement gift. I fussy-cut 5 of them and everyone thought it was so great! He retired from the local police department after 23 years.

This is only expensive relative to where you live. Our prices are $26 per metre on average so even with U.S. postage, it is still cheaper. The prices to post from here are about 5 times more expensive from my experience.

While I agree that Spoonflower's designs are gorgeous, I haven't been thrilled with the quality. Before you invest in yardage, you might want to order a swatch of your fabric, and give it a wash. unless they have changed in the last year or two, I haven't found the colors to be very colorfast. I would be thrilled to find out they have improved their quality! then again, I'd go broke.
