Better to do something imperfectly, than nothing perfectly.
Done is better than perfect.
Now up to $326. and change with only local shipping in the Galesville Illinois area.
Can't do it. Interesting to look at, however!
Looks like a nice cabinet, I didn't know that they made them for FWs.
I did learn something from the ebay listing. What that little screw was for down on the right side, in the cabinet. Could not figure it out on ours. It is to stop that half of a shelf that folds up so you can get your legs under there to sew. See, a old dog can learn. They do have places online that makes the reproductions. Just google, Featherweight Cabinet which is also called a #68 cabinet.

Here's an ad for an original on the International Sewing machine collector's society website.

Someone posted about plans to make one- first I have to find a featherweight!
Well, reserve not met, cabinet been relisted at a, buy it now, $850.00. Made it too $405.00 with 16 bids. Be interesting now to see where it goes. Love my cabinet, big table with machines on it in dungeon for sewing, but FW cabinet tucked in corner in sleep chamber for "can't sleep" times. Nice for the piece work on the quilts but really not big enough for putting the quilts together, slide off the table problem.
