    You are totally right!!! It did rust and I appreciate the suggestion.. I wasn't sure what to use in place of the pin, so I just washed out the top (it had been sitting for about 5 weeks and carried on. Again, thanks!

    Bella Boo....the pin was perfect, but I just found out it DID rust. Someone else made a good suggestion which I addressed. Thanks!
