I make these using 1-1/2 yds. for a local teen shelter. They love them, and the kids take their blanket with them when they leave. Lots of comfort in a fleece blanket when you're in a crises situation.

These are great. Our guild made them to send to Haitian children. I made three of them. Easy and quick. A really great pattern.

Ok, besides quilts, these are the best blankies!

I have made between 20 to 25 of these hummers. My DD, DD, DS all have one as well as many friends, relatives, and unknowns as I gave them to church for the Prayer Shawl ministry for those guys that needed a more manly 'shawl'.

Never made myself one and my DSis in CO made me one with fabric I thought we were picking out for our other sis. I use it daily and her love enfolds me.

My DSis makes them for the local childrens hospital so the kids have them while in the hospital and then can take home if they want.

Go ahead and make one up. Bet you'll make more!
