Default Needle Guide both machine and hand

This link will take you to Susan's blog where she has some useful information on needle selection for both machine and hand sewing along with the 7 reasons needles break. It includes illustrations on various needle types.

Here's a weird question... is there a way to determine what a needle that you have is? I have a "favorite needle" but I have no idea what size it is, if it's a sharp or a between, nothing. But I LOVE it & live in fear that it will break or get lost & I'll be up that ol' creek...

Still find error message, can't get the information. What can be wrong? Seems others are getting it due to the responses.
