i made a folded star block for my mom many, many years ago and framed it in a round picture frame. It is not as difficult as it looks and yes, I would think it would make a very heavy quilt.

I did one and agree it is easy. too heavy for a quilt but they make beautiful pillows. Made in colors to compliment someone elses room they make great gifts
