Thanks for the link. I'm off to get some rubber bands. I had to laugh when I read the paragraph about the bobbins falling on the floor every time she opened up the little plastic tray. I have a kitten that comes running when he hears my bobbin box open. He knows at least one will hit the floor and off he goes with it. Such a fast little kitty!

I have some extra long pipe cleaners. I place the bobbin atop the spool, run the pipe cleaner down through the center of both, and twist to the side. Great tip I got from watching Fons and Porter.

I went to the Minneapolis Modern Quilt site and looked at all the ideas. They are great!

Thank you for sharing!

I think I like that idea even better than the rubber bands.

Great idea and you can still put them on the spool rack.

I used the tip of using golf tees. I hot glued them to the bottom of a drawer then slid the spool on with the bobbin on top. Works great BUT most of the glue wouldn't hold. They have fallen over. Perhaps super glue?

I use a Qtip in the top of the spool and put the bobbin on top of the spool. Works great in the drawer I use to store my thread.
