I did her pattern Navaho Sunrise for my son's wedding gift--very nicely written pattern and while I did use some of her fabrics, my kids wanted green and tan (son) and violet and teal (DIL)--I was able to pull that off! So if you like her patterns, print them off and think outside her fabric selection for colors.
I would suggest maybe getting out your colored pencil and experimenting.

Many of the major fabric manufacturers have lots of free patterns on their website to motivate you to go buy their fabrics !!
