Default Free NY Beauty Blocks and Quilt Ideas

I received a free block template in my email but no pattern to go with it, or idea how to use it, so I searched for the "NY Beauty Block Quilt pattern" and found this lovely site!

I went back to that site and noticed there are tons of free patterns for quilts, blocks, paper-piecing, etc. I notice most of the links are from 2007 and some no longer exist, but there is a lot of nice stuff on the site.

Since it is a Tripod site (free for users to create, sponsored by ads) you can expect some pop-up ads, but they are easy to close, just look for the little black "close" on the lower right of the window.

I wanted to sign the guest book to this nice site but the tripod wallpaper made it impossible to sign in.
It is a nice site and those NYB blocks are wonderful. TFS

That link above after I click to print out any of the blocks leads me to other things not the patterns themselves. Is anyone else having this problem?

Oh, you're right! Now I'm sorry I shared it. I already had the pattern from another source so I didn't take that additional step. I think maybe the site is obsolete. It is from 2007, so maybe they didn't keep the links updated. I have found those follow up pages before and searched through them, I rarely find what I was looking for and give up.

There is a tute on that site:
    http://quilterscornerclub.tripod.com..._beauty_1.html
    and here:
    http://www.ezpiecing.com/New-York-Be...tructions.html

and I found a site that explains how to make your own block template:
    http://innerchilddesigns.blogspot.co...rk-beauty.html

and some NY Beauty Pattens to print:
    http://www.lenzula.de/en/pattern/fre...rk-beauty.html

Now I feel a little better. So apparently there is still some good stuff on the site I shared initially, but a lot of the links are broken or lead to pages that no longer exist, so you end up with ads or other broken links. Sorry about that.

The "Patterns to Print" site is great, but I would really appreciate it if it were in English! My German is not that good.
I couldn't find a place to change the language.

I got to some interesting pages -- enough to go back to. NYB are just that but probably well past my capabilities. Joyce in DE

That's a cool site. It's not helpful with this page since there is no link to be found to search for. I viewed the html and the words are there but the link that should follow the words is missing. For example in this portion:
    New York Beauty #2

    (Paper (foundation) pieced pattern
Click here for Block to print for Color Placement Guide
The words "Click here for Block to print for Color Placement Guide" are in the source code but the https:// address does not follow it as it should for the link to work. I was going to find the address and search for it on the site you shared.

Thanks for sharing, I bet we can use it in the future.
