On Fons and Porter yesterday, there was this fantastic woman who made a tote for quilting accessories out of a basic bucket, fabric and replacement screens for windows. I think it surpasses my abilities a little, but the pattern is free and I just liked looking at it!

Thanks for the link ... I don't think I'll be making the caddy, but you gave me an idea for making a carrying bag for my cutting mat and supplies ...... a window screen still in its frame would be perfect for stiffening the bag to stand up when empty, would help keep the mat flat and being stiff, would be easier to put the mat into the bag!! :)
