    The "DE-lusion" for me is I could make it! Jinny is no joke, and although I am an intermediate/advance quilter, I've not set my mind to make an illusion quilt! Whew! Strip piecing a ton of different fabrics, cutting diamonds, labeling a GAZILLION sets . . . yes, it's doable, but daunting. I'll save the thought for another day . . . :-)

    I just finished my first Jinny Beyer Quilt and it was an experience in frustration. It tried my patience on so many levels and ended up showing how bad wrong a quilt can go and still turn out to be loved by someone (my baby sister)

    I also downloaded another, her Faberge design and am looking for fabric for it now. Guess I'm a glutton for punishment!

    I am fascinated with those illusion patterns! I can't imagine writing those directions!

    they are too hard for me! love the site and downloaded two! thanks so much. some look very difficult but if you look closer you actually see its half squares and squares not hard at all. thanks again!
