That was a very funny post. I once made the mistake of bringing my hubby and the kids to a small local quilt show. He kept sending the kids to check on me. After about 30 minutes I gave up and suggested that we go home. I've never taken him to the quilt store or show again.

My husband agrees with having a tv lounge and sports bar up front.

When he comes in with me and I am looking for something specific. He will go how about this?.........its like a reset button went off and I have to start looking all over again. He has a good eye for fabrics though. So I trust his judgement on choices.

My husband loves to go with me, but then he is a long-arm quilter. We are going on the East Tennessee Shophop this weekend. A friend & her husband are going with us. We will make it a 2 day trip, planning to have fun.

I don't complain about going to the hardware store and he does not complain about the fabric store. He generally takes a book with him if he thinks we will be going fabric shopping, but I generally look around and wander through hardware stores.

I never quilt shop on Sunday. That's time I spend with DH and he's a fast shopper. Only one time we shopped for fabric for him. It was headliner for his truck. I chose the color because I had a swatch from the old one. He was a smoker and was amazed how the replacement with the new one made such a difference. Now if we could only get new seat covers. The only time we shop together is for extra groceries and his clothes. He always gets my approval for any vehicle to drive.
