    Red face FYI: Tuesday Morning

Starting Sunday,April 6, Tuesday Morning shops will have a 5 piece fat quarter pack for $5.99 . I have purchased these before and they were actually good quality Moda fabrics. They also ,will have some quilting supplies,at great mark down prices .I love this store, and is my second choice as Hobby Lobby is my favorite . The fabrics are back in our Walmart ,but hasn't shown me a whole lot so far , most are what I call "seconds quality" . I have 5 stores within a 3 mile range that sell craft and sewing items . Consider myself very lucky. Our local quilt shop's fabrics start @ $10.99 a yard . Live strictly on S.S. and just can't afford it.If I ever win a lottery ,first place I'll go will be a local quilt shop.

THANKS for the information. I have a Tuesday Morning shop but it doesn't look like a friendly place for a walker so I have never gone it. I just might take a walk up to the store on Sunday if it doesn't rain in CA!!

My LQS is closing so I will have to rely more on Hobby Lobby. Like that you can use your coupons on magazines and even a fabric that is currently on sale. Much friendly customer service than other stores. Just wish they would increase the square footage of the fabric area. I am also limited to a small income and SS.

I don't have a Tuesday Morning and my Walmart only carries a few precuts. As for your LQS fabric, my last visit to Fabricland (kind of like Joanne's but in Canada) the quilting fabric was $22.00 a meter. Needless to say I searched for some off the sale table.

    Tartan,
I don't know what part of Ontario you're in, but in Simcoe the local quilting shop is much cheaper! Also, do you know about Len's Mill Store? Several locations throughout southwest Ontario - they have pretty good prices too!

I made a quick run into walmart tonight for some paper and stopped in the fabric dept. I was shocked to see the section of fabric marked for quilting and it priced from 7.97 and up. Hobby Lobby is around that price but 30% off ticket price and they have a coupon each week. We don't have a Tuesday Morning but I'm going to look online.

TM is my favorite store. I was there today. The fat quarters were there, beautiful Moda! The manager didn't know if they would always be in stock as TM buys overstocks. I picked up a great buy on a tri ply stainless steel ceramic skillet while browsing.

I don't have but a LQS and a Walmart unless I travel. When I do go to Phoenix or Prescott I try to get what I need or may I say sometimes what I want. There is a store I like in Phoenix and all the cottons are 3.99 a yd.

Our local TM never has any fat quarters or much in the way of quilting things, but I will check this week.

I get the Tuesday Morning flyer in the mail because I signed up as a preferred customer. The pre-cuts and some quilting supplies were featured in their flyer. I don't know if the flyers are geographic specific and only certain areas receive certain products but if it is in the flyer I would think that they would have them in stock to begin with.
