If you like these type of quilts, I found these pictures from browsing the link DonnaRae posted for the Quilt Assisstant software. These types of quilts amaze and intrigue me and got ideas floating around in my head :D

The page 16, Mengers sponge is definitely my favorite. Does anyone know if this pattern is available for purchase. It's WOW!

I sent an email to them asking if the pattern was for sale for pg 16 (the cube). He said he doesn't make patterns, only one at a time, as he designs. He sent a quick reply. Does anyone else know of a 3-D effect like that? It's stunning.

I have been searching for and purchasing books on optical illusion quilts, I am absolutely fascinated with them. If I come across any free patterns, I will defininently post them!

Love the link, especially Menger's Cube. It appeals to the mathematical side of me. Would love a pattern. I'm guessing it's paper pieced.

I am in total awe! How does someone get so much artistic talent. I wish I had just a pinky full of that talent! It is awesome. I too like all the illussion patterns. So does my DH. But I tell him except for the cubes or attic windows I am at a loss so he better come up with something. He won't. He is like me, loves it but doing it is another story. Too bad. Okay Emma, next time you post an illussion let it be the pattern please LOL....
