I think there are some other conversations in the archives where a lot have been mentioned also. :-)

ABC's of Quilting is a very nice shop also. Kits are on sale right now & I have ordered 3-4 over the last few months. The 1st kit I ordered was the Quilted Village. I had ordered elsewhere & was disappointed. 12 diff. 'house' patterns in 1 bag, all the fabric stacked & folded in another with no identifying tags, no ribbon or floss for the flowers, trees, etc. I returned & got my $$ back. Ordered the same kit from ABC's & each pattern was kitted separately with the floss & ribbon. I will be able to work ea mini kit without taking the whole bundle apart. The owners name is Linda & she sends a hand written Thank You note plus a fat 1/4 with each order. Very pleasant shopping there.

I've been lucky buying online. Here in Australia I can't afford LQS prices most of the time. Even with the cost of shipping I can buy for about a third of the price from America. I can only think of one fabric that wasn't what I expected. It wasn't terrible, just different. I've always found the sellers friendly. One lady even rang me from America to make sure I got what I wanted.

Common Threads in Waxihachie TX is great with customer service and value. I have done several BOM's and can't say enough good things about them. I believe they specialize in Civil War fabrics.

My favorite store for online fabric is The Fabric Shack. I order from them quite often and was pleased when I order at Christmas time they gave me 10% off Christmas discount. Always checking what new batiks they have added to the $6.99 sale category such as Hoffman and Timeless Treasures. Orders under $75 are shipped with a $3.00 priority shipping. LOVE THEM !!
