Great Art Quilt / Thread Sketching Resource

While bouncing around various quilting videos on YouTube, I stumbled across one on Thread Sketching by Deborah Wirsu, an Australian textile artist. In 2015 she started a weekly series of videos, "Thread Sketching in Action." I love them. She explores lots of different techniques and they look like such fun to try. (For those of you who like to quilt feathers, you ought to see HER feathers! Fun! Although this one might look intimidating, many of her other tutorials are not).

I also found she had some YouTube tutorials on using Inktense pencils and blocks on fabric which were great to watch.

You can find her at http://www.deborahwirsu.com -- she shares lots of great information on various techniques. She also on Facebook.

On YouTube, search for Thread Sketching or Deborah Wirsu.

very pretty, very artistic and creative.
put off till tomorrow what you can do today, and if you procrastinate long enough, you may never have to do it.

Thank You. This is just what I have been looking for. I want to do thread sketching so bad but hesitant to try. She makes it look easy and enjoyable. I put her in my favorites.
