Thanks for posting the link to WSJ about Craftsy. I have been tempted in the past to sign up for classes. From the reviews of others on the board and reading about the company, on-line classes are going to be my new favorite things this year.

Very interesting article! I have yet to take a class, but have bought from them. I am very happy with my purchases.

I have signed up for about 7 classes never at full price. An that doesn't count the 4 free classes I've signed up for. If you want to get your feet wet try a free class. there are 3 available right now about quilting and piecing.

I've signed up for 16 classes, 4 of which were free, so I was very interested in the WSJ article. I had wondered who came up with such a good idea at such reasonable prices. I always buy when the classes are on sale, but even at that, I've dropped a few bucks. But the instructors and format are top notch and well worth even the full price. I used to spend that much and more on books and magazines. Thanks for posting the link./info.

I saw the article in WSJ and was excited to read about Craftsy which I knew nothing about. Who said that Americans were not harding work. Look at what they created and much more.

I've signed up for 3 of their classes...one was by Weeks Ringel! What a treat. I learned so much about the theory of design.
And I gifted my 12 y/o granddaughter with a class on Amigurumi. She was delighted!! The kid just picks up a crochet hook, goes onto youtube and boom, she creates wonderful things that I never would think even I could make.

I continually ( daily) get emails from them, along with Annie's, and have been curious about their classes. I guess because I have been a premium member for a few years of AQS and QCA and have access to lots of free on line classes but have never taken advantage (keep saying one of these days--), I should check them out first. I have also never seen Quilt Out Loud, which I also keep saying I will. What a great testimonial to Craftsy, though!
