I have wanted to quilt a duvet cover. I know sounds strange but I want the warmth from a duvet and the look of a quilt. This technique would be an easy way to attach blocks to a duvet cover or to make a duvet cover with blocks.

really intriguing concept.
My problem is: I have tons of poly/cotton battings.
Has anyone pressed seams using a "not-cotton" batting?
I wonder how thick it would be and if it would show through. Hers looks great.
I didn't buy 100% battings, bc I don't particularly want the crinkled look. I like smooth.

I only have poly/cotton battings too. I think you could put a pressing cloth over the seams then press and it would be ok.
