    thank you for the info, just make sure test it first, sometime it varied on different fabrics

    Thank you for the info. Never thought about using these to mark quilts. i have used the gel quilt markers that you iron out and don't really like them because they seem to leave a white mark after ironing.

    I have used the ones marked 'ultra - clean - fine - tipped - Crayola - markers'. They wash out.

    Someone recently said they ironed over them and they still washed out, so I tested ironing them thoroughly and it WASHED OUT. I tend to have to test things for myself so I suggest you experiment on a sample piece of fabric and find out if it washes out.

    I did finally find them at a larger WalMart for $1.97 and I bought two packs, but found them in the office supply section, not with the other school supply displays where the broad tip ones were.
