I guess I'm a little taken aback at some of the comments about the piecing of the quilt. I've seen many vintage quilts in collections that were poorly pieced by today's standards. This top was made in the 70's ... before we had many of the modern tools that we rely on today.
There are also some very nice things about this top ... the color balance is nice and the maker took time to make sure that all her stripes are facing the same direction and are straight ... a skill I've seen lacking in far too many quilts. And I fully admit to not using stripes too often myself for this very reason.
Good luck with your sale Jan.
May your stitches always be straight, your seams always lie flat, and your grain never be biased against you.

Also, the materials are polyester and cotton. I don't think this quilt would bring much money if you wanted to re-sell it.
not crazy about the cotton poly.....I will pass
I have seen a quilt made by my grandmother in the 50's it is also done on a machine and is very wonkey but it is also very pretty fabrics, it is unfinnished and will stay that way, because she did it . just saying that not everyone is perfict ,and don't judge , they could have been very old when they made them. with very shakey hands..
